Last weekend when we were driving through town I spotted an echidna walking down the main street! I do live in the country, but this was a very unusual sight!
Anyway it turns out it was this little guy and he was lost. But a lovely, kind person scooped him up and delivered him to the Healesville Sanctuary where he was checked to make sure he was fine, then he was returned to his natural habitat :-)
